Kyle Redd & Sarah Vann Drake(CA) Kyle Redd & Sarah Vann Drake (CA) have been on the forefront of innovative west coast swing for over 20 years. Residing in Fresno, California, Kyle Redd & Sarah Vann Drake are the holders of 11 US Open titles, are five time NASDE champions, and eight time Grand National Champions, and they are the only couple to hold US Open Swing Championship titles in both the Showcase and Classic divisions. Competing together for over 12 years, they are known for their smooth footwork and precise, and direct teaching styles. Kyle and Sarah have choreographed and performed over 24 routines. John Festa (NYC) & Blake Hobby Dowling (CT) John is Co-Founder of Gotham Swing Club, 1st and foremost WCS Club in the Northeast; Co-Founder of Liberty Swing Dance Championships; hosted the longest-running weekly WCS party in NYC. A renowned instructor, DJ, dance stylist, Judge and competitor, teaching since 1991 in venues across the country and known to influence dancers and DJ's equally, he is now dedicated to "Classic Style Swing". Member, DJ Hall of Fame Inducted as Living Legend of Dance,2006

Blake Hobby Dowling is a two time US Open Champion and a Living Legends of Dance Hall of Fame inductee. She has been competing, teaching, and judging on the National Swing Circuit for over 20 years. Previous to entering the Swing world, Blake danced in ballet companies in Atlanta and Boston. She also holds a masters degree in teaching which is evident in her planning and implementation of dance instruction. Her teaching style is clear, direct, easy and focuses on technique and execution.

Angel & Debbie Figueroa (TX) are National Head Judges and Workshop Instructors, Classic and Showcase Champions, Phoenix champions Dallas dance hall of famers, Grand National champions, Boogie By the Bay Champions and so much more!  They teach and judge locally in Austin and are event directors for Austin Swing Dance Championships!
Hugo Miguez & Stacy Kay (FL) are renowned worldwide for their precision, variety, and teaching methods within West Coast Swing. Since 2011, they have taken the circuit by storm with their Classic routines and are re-defining the learning process of the dance world. They will lead you through energetic dances while sharing their advice on all things dance. Hugo and Stacy reside in sunny Clearwater, Florida and travel as competitors, judges, and choreographers for numerous events in different dance styles. Both continue to share their passion for dance and enjoy working with all levels of experiences. They work with top professionals in many different dance styles distinctly furthering their education and experience. Their philosophy is to introduce and foster fresh, comprehensive dance knowledge for their students by giving more of themselves within every experience.

Greg Scott & Lemery Rollins (MD) have over 20 years dancing experience combined.  Greg started in American Ballroom but competed in country winning many titles.  He also has a background in ballet, jazz and hip hop.  Lemery started in International 10 Dance (both Ballroom and Latin) and won many titles including: 3rd in the world pro/am 10 dance, 5Th in the world and 3rd in the USA pro/am Latin.  She is also skilled in American Ballroom, Salsa, and Argentine Tango.  Greg and Lemery are currently focusing on West Coast Swing, Greg winning many All-Star J&J and Strictlys. Together they have solidified their place within the top 5 couples in Showcase Division this year and are both currently at the top of the NASDE tour. 
Philippe & Flore Berne hail from France, now living and working in Montreal, Canada. Philippe’s background is in the competition world and Flore’s is the world of social dancing. Together, they evolved rapidly in national and international competitions and took it to the biggest French stages with Charly Moser’s dance Company (Feeling Dance Show), known for their numerous TV and live appearances. Today, they are emerging West Coast Swing Showcase champions. They also still compete in DanceSport and turned professional in the 2014 season, becoming Canadian Professional 10-Dance Vice-Champion at their first Canadian professional championship. www.philippeandflore.com
Dawn Garrish (MD) has been teaching social and competitive dance in the Washington, DC area for over 32 years. She started as a baton twirler at the age of 5, winning the US Title in Dance Twirl at the age of 12.    It wasn’t until she hit the local bar scene that she fell in LOVE with couples dancing. Her knowledge in Competitive Country Dance and West Coast swing is extensive. She holds 7 US Open swing titles in 4 different divisions.  She was the first Masters Country Dance World Champion.  She has won over 25 Top teacher awards, and was inducted into the Country Dance Hall of Fame in 2016.  She has been judging for over 25 years and found her niche as Head Judge 10 years ago.  Since then she can be found as the Head judge of many event across the US. She prides herself in idea that “The competitors come first”!  Her memory is (normally) amazing and never minds if you ask her, her opinion. She is after all a MOM of two upcoming dancers themselves!
Jerome & Bonnie Subey (NJ) met on the dance floor, and from their first contact, the passion was apparent. Even though they come from different countries (with different languages!) and different dance backgrounds, their dance styles complete one another, giving Jerome and Bonnie a specific style entirely their own. Their complementarity as a couple brings out the passion they have for dancing, teaching, and always wanting to improve. They have both completed the GPDIA judging intensive and are now certified judges.
Kellese Key (TX) has danced all of her life, starting at the age of 2 with extensive training in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Clogging, and Theatre.  Coming into the Swing Dance scene in 1991, she quickly moved up the ranks winning her first US Open title within 3 years in the Showcase division.  Shortly after winning her first title, she was honored with the Feather Award for Best Showcase Dancer, an award voted on by her peers and the general dance population.  In 1996, Kellese met Brent Key.  After two short years of partnering, they won their first US Open title together in the Classic division, thus making Kellese the first female to ever win a title in both the Showcase and the Classic divisions at the US Open.  With Brent coming from the Carolina Shag World, and Kellese from the West Coast Swing World, they created a fusion quickly labeled by the dance community as Swag!  There is not enough paper to list all of Kellese’s accomplishments but her highlights include: 10 US Open Titles, of which 7 were in the prestigious Classic and Showcase divisions,  6 USA Grand National Titles in both Classic and Showcase, a World Swing Dance Championship Title in the Showcase division,  2007 Impact Couple of the Year,  2009 Induction into the Dallas D.A.N.C.E Hall of Fame and after all of this competition, Kellese’s passion for life and dance continue to infect dancers all across the globe!  Today, Kellese Key still travels around teaching, competing, judging and choreographing for her favorite dance of all time and is the proud owner/creator of Swank Dance Fitness, her latest venture in an attempt to expose West Coast Swing “One Triple Step at a Time”!!
Kristen Humphrey &  Brandon Parker (TX) Brandon started dancing West Coast Swing in 2004 at age 14. Because of his background in vocal music, his mother encouraged him to start dancing as well. After years of effort, he finally gave in. Little did he know; his passion for dance would turn into a lifelong hobby and career. He started out taking classes, and worked with various teachers and mentors to become an excellent dancer, instructor & choreographer. Now in his 20s, Brandon has worked his way up the ranks of the WSDC ranking system to the All Star division, and is a consistent finalist and top placer in improv and routine divisions. He is currently teaching group, private lessons and workshops at home and around the country with Kristen Humphrey. His quirky and fun, yet to the point teaching style is well loved by all. He is passionate about getting new dancers to find their own love of West Coast Swing, like he did years ago, along with creating a fun, friendly & open environment in his classes. His other talents include: MC´ing, DJ´ing, judging, and hosting private functions.

Kristen began West Coast Swing 6 years ago and it quickly grew to be one of her passions. Prior to that she spent years dancing and choreographing for a company; performing Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Modern. She currently dances in the Champion/All Star division of West Coast Swing and is a consistent top placement holder and finalist. In 2014-2015 Kristen competed her classic routine in US Open Classic Finals and also placed top 5 on the NASDE circuit. Kristen travels often, and is sought out all over the US to dance, compete, and teach West Coast. She currently teaches weekly with Brandon Parker in Houston, Texas. Kristen desires to share the joy of West Coast Swing through teaching private lessons, workshops, performing, and social dancing; and is thankful to be part of the amazing West Coast Swing community.
Igor Pitangui & Rayane Calixto (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) They have been dance partners for over 15 years. Both of them have professional technical training in dance: ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, latin dances and Brazilian dances. They started studying West Coast Swing in 2009 and since then they are passionate about this dance and the endless possibilities it brings. Igor is also a choreographer and worked as a dancer in one of the bigest dance companies in Brazil "Palácio das Artes". He has been awarded countless times for his bold and creative choreographies. He's a technician in the production and management of cultural events and has been running the "Westcâmbio" event for three years in his hometown Belo Horizonte. Rayane graduated in Dance from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and has experience as a classical and contemporary dancer. They got many Jack & Jill's, Strictly, Rising Star and Classic placements in different international events on that last four years. For now they're focused on expanding their international career as professional dancers and in special on their job as teachers, taking their philosophy that dance is a tool for transforming people's lives, making them discover their strong points and weaknesses, facing their abysses and celebrating their achievements. Robert Royston (NY) is an 8x US Open swing champion in 5 different divisions, who holds 4 World Country Dance titles, 3 USA Grand Nationals titles, and 4 Phoenix Champion of Champion Jack and Jill trophies. The '14 and '15 National Association of Swing Dance Events (NASDE) tour Champion, and a member of 5 different dance Halls of Fame, Royston has performed, choreographed, and produced on film, tv, and stage for over thirty years. His career-long devotion to being the best teacher he can be has led him to train in many systems of movement, and has helped earn him the reputation as one of the greatest teachers in the world of dance today. Oh... And he is the "voice" of over 20 events a year!
John Lindo (CA) After beginning in country-western dance in 1992, John Lindo quickly made his mark on the West Coast Swing circuit by garnering an astonishing number of awards and championships in Jack-and-Jills and Strictly Swings. Some of his First Place awards include the U.S. Open, Grand Nationals, Phoenix Champion of Champions. He is also sought after internationally for his experience and teaching, having traveled to five countries in the past year alone. John currently resides in New Jersey and Northern California and is an influential presence in the New York City West Coast Swing scene.
Jeff Mumford (IA) With his combination of strength, technique and creativity, Jeff Mumford continues to seek out and master life's great challenges. A dance professional who achieved the highest level of competition in five years, Jeff teaches and judges West Coast Swing nationwide. His commitment to fitness is built on a background in medical work, anatomy and physiology training, and NASM Personal Training education. He also puts all of his techniques to practice himself, clocking many hours at his beloved Doghouse Crossfit. Military service in the US Army also helped create Jeff's method, including a tour of duty with Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Despite a lot of hard driving work and competitive experience, Jeff still appreciates the three minute work of art he is able to create with a partner and says his greatest inspiration is his clients. 
Kay Newhouse (MD) fell in love with West Coast Swing in the Washington DC area in the mid 90s, and has traveled to visit WCS dance conventions and social scenes around the country for many years. Now co-director of DCSX, Swing Fling and MADjam, she brings friendly warmth and attention to each of us as valuable members of a social dance community. As a teacher & event organizer, she balance a sense of the fun of performance and competition with a strong belief that the essential soul of this dance resides within everyone's reach, on the shared social floor. She is known for being playful and inclusive, and for a focus on respect and cooperation. Her classes with teaching partner Matthew Smith emphasize responsive partnership to build mutual creativity and social proficiency within the framework of West Coast Swing. www.KayWCS.com
Nikki Kontoulas (NC) Exposed to Carolina Shag dancing at the tender age of 4, she fell in love with the dance and started competing in the early 90's.  Having acquired numerous titles as a junior shag dancer with various partners, she grew up in the dance community winning several titles from the National Shag Dance Championships and USA Grand Nationals along with countless Professional contests.   She was a member, captain and choreographer of the award winning competition team, the National Shag Team and Ducks Dirty Dozen.  
As a Hall of Fame Keeper of the Dance, she continues to fuel the growth of shag dancing and it's music around the globe with dance partner, Scott Campbell.  Carrying Shag's tradition and lifestyle forward, Nikki brings playfulness and stylish footwork to the competitive and social dance scene.  Focusing on fundamentals, technique and connection, she enjoys incorporating intricate footwork and body control into the marriage of shag and swing dance.  Currently living in Charlotte, NC she teaches group workshops and private lessons sharing her passion for dance with all levels.
Matthew Smith (FL). Matthew began dancing when he was just five years old, and moved into West Coast Swing intensely nearly twenty years ago. Drawing on his many years of experience in this rapidly changing dance, he combines a contemporary sense of lyrical musicality with a passion for the fundamentals of west coast swing. Matthew teaches with Kay Newhouse (co-director of MADjam, DCSX and Swing Fling), focusing on social proficiency and the ways that good technique make dancing easier and more fun.
Debra Lynn Tuttle (MD) Debbie Lynn Tuttle is a full-time professional dance instructor in the Washington DC, Northern VA and MD region. She is a UCWDC Champion, Pro-Am Instructor, and Dance Event Coordinator. Lessons include individual, couple, group classes, specialty workshops with a concentration in West Coast Swing (WCS) and Hustle dance styles, as well as providing private lessons in most of the ballroom dances. Her dance roots go back to days in ballet, jazz, modern, improv, hula and international ballroom and she studies extensively with many top professionals plus has the distinction of being a Premier West Coast Swing Dancer. Her experience and accomplishments in the dance community provide her students with an extensive knowledge base to learn and grow. She knows what it takes to become an accomplished dancer. victorSteve Wilder (VA) is an All-Star West Coast Swing dancer from New York known for his entertaining teaching style and nonstop social dancing. He actually started dancing because he thought it would be a great way to meet women, but he immediately fell in love with dancing instead. In 2014, Steve began his career in teaching West Coast Swing throughout New Jersey, Philadelphia, and New York areas. During 2015-2016 Steve traveled and taught in and around New Zealand, Australia, and Malaysia.  He loves creating an emotional and physical connection with his dance partners whether it be on the competitive floor or social floor. He looks forward to continuing his journey as an Instructor, Judge and Choreographer with his new dance partner Lara Deni. 

Lara Deni (VA) began her teaching career at 15 in her mother’s dance studio. A year later she was performing with an adult dance troupe and traveling the East Coast and Canada as a professional adjudicator for youth Tap, Jazz and Ballet dance competitions. She trained in Tap, Jazz and Ballet, achieving a BFA in Dance. Teaching and competing on the Ballroom/Latin and Lindy circuits, Lara brings a wide range of knowledge and understanding to her classes. Lara won Top Teacher Award at DCSX 2014 and MadJam 2015. She and former partner Keith Stremmel won 5 Titles Nationally in the Classic Rising Star division, and she has won over 15 National Titles/Placements in All Star Jack & Jill and Strictly divisions. In 2015, she started a youth program, and she has just started to bring West Coast Swing to other Virginia communities far outside of the Metro DC area. She encourages and helps her students attain their goals in dance, while making the process of growing and learning a fun and rewarding one. Robin Smith (NC) has been dancing, teaching and competing in dance as well as judging nationally and regionally for over 33 years. For the past 18 years he has concentrated exclusively on West Coast Swing, studying with only the very best in the business. Among his accomplishments are numerous 1st Place titles and many top 5 placements at events all across the nation including a 3rd place finish at the US Open Swing Dance Championships in 2003 as well as winning numerous top teacher awards.

Robin is certified under Michael Kiehm's IPDIA at the Instructor / Examiner level(Master Instructor) and wass actually the very first Master GPDIA instructor ever certified. In short...he knows ALOT about WCS past and present... Never satisfied that what he already knows is enough, he works tirelessly to keep up with current trends and techniques in the global west coast swing community.

With a diverse professional background in music, dance and martial arts Robin has a unique understanding of body movement and how it relates to music and takes great pride in his ability to improve the overall level of West Coast Swing where ever his travels take him. A serious teacher for serious students Robin teaches full time and would love to share his vast knowledge of and passion for west coast swing with you.
Tammy Brown from Baltimore Maryland. A 2006 U.S.Open Champion. Won first place in the Sophisticated Swing Division with her partner Kevin Fitzhugh also approx 1 year later winning 1st place in the team division at the U.S. Open. She started Hand Dancing in 1997 and competed in many competitions placing in the top 5 at The Mad Jam, Virginia State Open (now DCSX), Swing Fling and others. Three years later, became interested in West Coast Swing. Started competing in many swing divisions, Jack and Jills, Strictly Swing, Classic,Sophisticated, Invitational and champion divisions. Placing top 5 in many of those categories. She started teaching WCS and Hand Dance the year of from 2004 until recent  to hundreds of area students. Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels and competed as a pro-am instructor in strictly and routine division with her students.  In recent years, she has been the coordinator of an Amateur Jack and Jill at the Steady Steppers Vegas Jam in Las Vegas. Teaching special workshops such as Spins and Turns for ladies and Gents and Ladies Styling. She continues to teach West Coast Swing.

Alyssa Gillespie (VA) began dancing at the age of seven and by 16, she was instructing at a local ballroom studio.  In 2011, she was exposed to West Coast Swing and was instantly captivated with its’ innovative, playful, and expressive nature.  West Coast Swing became the primary focus of her dancing and Alyssa quickly rose through the competitive ranks to the All-star division.  Alyssa has a strong focus on technique and was honored with the inaugural Rose Mary Bartolini Technical Dancer Memorial Award.  With a passion for teaching, Alyssa strives to quickly develop confident, stylish, and well-rounded students regardless of their previous dance experience.
Jade Ruiz  (CA) her love for the subtle way the body can move to music has been her inspiration to learn as many different styles of dance as possible. Starting out at the age of three, She took lessons in Hip hop, Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Contemporary gradually moving into partnership dancing in High School.  Jade has always been a competitor and performer but teaching is were her true passion lies.  She continues to study various styles of dance as well as how to teach movement to both beginners and more experienced dancers. Currently Jade coaches and choreographs routines for couples and singles in both Professional/Amateur competitions for West Coast Swing, American Smooth and American Rhythm
Ardena Gojani Ardena was born in Kosovo, lived in Kentucky for 13 years where she originally discovered WCS through Arthur Murray. She moved to Norway in 2012, where she completed her masters degree in International Development and then begin her business Argo Dance & Fitness. She has helped to fuel the growth of the WCS community in Norway by regularly teaching and consistently bringing WCS professionals to Scandinavia for intensive workshops. One of her most popular events is the Winter White West Coast Swing WWWCS, a yearly WSDC event that takes place in Oslo.  While she continues to be a catalyst of WCS in Norway, she also travels internationally teaching, competing and judging. When she is not teaching, she loves to spend time in her garden and dancing with her 4 year old daughter.  Ardena believes that dancing allows all individuals to grow mentally, physically and spiritually.  She strives to show the world that we can all "enhance through dance"
Alexandre Peducasse (Switzerland) has been a West Coast Swing dance enthusiast since 2010. He teaches weekly classes at home and elsewhere across Europe with partner Christelle Antenucci at competitions. He acheived AllStar level in WSDC competition in 2015. Alexandre has more recently become a judge at events he travels to. This year he will be a Chef Judge in Italy. His goal is to be accessible to everybody to share his passion, Dancing!
Louis St. George is a full-time professional DJ. Serving primarily the west coast swing and line dance crowds, Louis travels year-round providing the highest quality music for dancers of all types. With over 15 years of DJ experience, DJ Louie is never missing what to play next, and loves keeping a dance floor rocking.
Victor Loveira (NC) Originally from Houston, Victor has over 30 years experience as a DJ and over 17 years experience as a swing DJ. Victor's first WCS event to DJ was The Texas Classic in 1995 in Dallas, Texas. From that point on, he has had the good fortune of DJing many of the countries’ top swing events including The US Open, Dallas DANCE, Boogie by the Bay, USA Grand Nationals, Americas' Classic, Liberty Swing, Swing Diego, Swing Fling, Summer Hummer, Nashville Classic, Worlds and Phoenix. Victor has also traveled internationally to DJ at prestigious swing events in London. To his credit, Victor is considered by peers to be one of the top Swing DJs in the business and travels approximately 40 weeks in a given year. In 2005, Victor was honored with the AllSwing DJ of the Year Award. He won Best DJ of 2011 at the first annual Westie Awards Gala, an honor bestowed on him by his west coast dance peers. In 2012, Victor was inducted into the Allswing DJ Hall of Fame.
Anne Fleming (MA) has been dancing and teaching West Coast Swing, Hustle, and Country Two-Step for almost 20 years. Her support of the WCS community has been steadfast since the early days of it’s development. Anne’s classes are well-known for their relaxed sense of fun as well as for her command of the dances she teaches. Anne competes at the highest levels herself, and knows how to teach her students to enjoy the dance as well as to excel.

Katie Fallon
(OH) is a West Coast Swing and Hustle DJ from Ohio who loves sharing her passion of music. In 2011 she was introduced and trained by a fellow DJ and started DJing for local dances around Cleveland. As time passes, Katie continues to inspire people at dances and events in the Midwest and progressively around the United States. Her goal is to work hard on providing the best experience through social and competition music alike!
Tim Johnson (MI) Tim Johnson (MI) is a full time dance professional who serves the dance community locally, nationally and internationally. It began in 1998 with a passion for dancing and an entrepreneurial spirit that guided him to establish Dance Fanatics. Based in Metro Detroit, Dance Fanatics hosts a variety of dances, workshops and seminars including weekly and monthly West Coast Swing parties titled West Coast Wednesday and Second Saturday Swing. Jes Ann Nail (NY) started DJing in 2013 after dancing West Coast Swing for 3 years and discovering her love for the diversity of music WCS had to offer. Coming from traditional Ballroom to WCS was musical liberation for her which sparked an interest in pursuing a side career DJing in the WCS community. Being a Ballroom Instructor by profession coupled with some prior experience as a DJ, allowed for a seamless transition into the WCS world. She enjoys collecting a variety of music but her favorites include Contemporary and Indie Pop, Blues, and Acoustic Covers. Jes Ann calls New York City home but enjoys traveling the US and Europe teaching, competing, and DJing to become the medium between two of her passions, dance and music.

James Kong
(MD) Equal parts logical and intuitive, James (DJ LOJYK) plays music that not only moves your feet but also your animates soul. After getting his start in Pittsburgh, James brought his deejaying talents to the DC west coast swing scene, playing at weekly dances and Dance Jam Production events, including MADjam. Known to keep dancers out long after their bedtimes, James plays to the room and aims to keep his sets balanced, delightfully novel, and always inspiring.

In addition to deejaying west coast swing, James regularly deejays swouk events (swing + zouk) in DC. A dancer turned DJ, James has been dancing west coast swing since 2008, competing since 2011, and DJing since 2012.
Kelli Kilgore (MD) has always wanted to dance. 10 years ago, when she was looking for dance classes, only ballroom classes were an option. She found WCS, and never looked back. Kelli has always wanted to be an active participant in all aspects of WCS not just dancing. She’s worked events since 2007 in various roles. She got her first opportunity to DJ in 2012 when her local Va Beach community was is need of a DJ for a local dance. After getting the bug she began research and studying under DJs like Ruby Lair and Louis St. George in order to grow into the DJ she hoped to be. She got her first opportunity to DJ at Sweet Side of Swing in Atlanta through their mentorship program. Since then she’s gone on to Dj local DC dances regularly, travel to other communities like Philly and Charlottesville to spread her love of music and play other events including DC Out and Philly Swing Classic. She considers DC her home and is excited to join the DJP team this year at Swing Fling. Kellii’s known for matching the mood for each audience, adapting as she goes to keep dancers engaged. Kelli loves meeting new people, creating a community, and traveling to new communities. She hopes that her passion for dance and music reaches each and every dancer on the dance floor and they find that same joy she has in each song.
